With more than 30 years of industry experience, Turun International president John Brasch and his staff have a solid understanding of elder care. The firms expertise is built in part upon Brasch’s experience as founder of Senior Technologies, Inc., where he pioneered the industry leading WanderGuard Departure Alert System for people with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia.

WanderGuard is now used in more U.S. health care facilities that any other restraint-free product. Brasch also led the introductions of wireless nurse call systems and fall prevention monitors at Senior Technologies. Senior Technologies was sold to the Stanley Works and became the flagship of its healthcare division. Brasch continued with Stanly Senior Technologies as CEO until 2004. His industry affiliations have included: the Midwest International Trade Association, the Health Care Manufacturers Marketing Council and American Health Care Association.

He also has served on the board and as president of the Lincoln and Greater Nebraska chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association and the Lincoln Senior Center Association.
